Port Augusta

After an easy 165 km drive we set up camp in the Big 4 caravan park. The physiotherapist who treated me was from India and once worked for the Indian cricket team! He was very thorough in his examination and reckoned that the tendonitis may have been caused by torn fibers in my tendon perhaps caused by stretching cold or exertion. He treated me with massage, ultrasound and acupuncture. He recommended 3 weeks of physiotherapy twice a week, with very gentle stretching and then getting into more stretching and strength building exercises.

They are not open on Saturday so it's off to the Borossa tomorrow.
