A much better day today. We made up the kms we missed yesterday and got here about 3 PM after a long lunch with a North bound AAWT trekker whom we gleaned much good information from. We had about 9 km of off track route today but we managed to follow the markers which make for much faster progress and it was all down hill or level. We have a nice creek flowing past our tent so we each got out our kitchen sink collapsible buckets and had a good wash. That felt pretty good!

Tomorrow was planned as a rest day but instead we are walking up to Johnnies Top because we now know there is a full water tank there. This means we hopefully can make Taylor's Crossing the next day rather than camp at the waterless Corryong-Benanbra road.
