Hainsworth Hut
We left Pocket hut in fog but not so thick that we had any trouble following the track. Soon we climbed out of the fog and over a open forest ridge to 17 creek flat. The walking here was on wheel tracks in grass. We saw more brumbys here. The day turned sunny with a nice cool breeze, perfect for walking. Most of the walk from here was undulating with no ridges more than 150 m above the plains. We arrived at Hainsworth hut about 1:30. The hut is not nearly as nice as Pocket hut but this is made up for by an excellent stream deep enough to soak sore feet, achillies and knees. We let some water warm in the sun and had a good wash.
