Halleluyah (201.44 km)

Yes, it's a day that takes on a religious significance, because today I tightened the Jesus nut on the bobs and Low and Behold, a lot of the bob wobble we were suffering disappeared! Halleluyah!

'What's the Jesus nut?', you say? Well it's the nut that attaches the hitching arms to the bob and allows it to swivel. Without it, all Hell would break loose. Blood on the streets. That type of thing.

So anyway we had another brilliant day, made even better by being wobbleless. There was hardly a breath of wind and when it did come up it was another tail wind, 3 in a row. And no rain. Nice.

We stopped in Meckering and had a look at all the earthquake displays. Meckering had a 6.9 Richter quake in 1968 which flattened the town. A 1.5 m high bank was formed and the train tracks were buckled etc. It was quite interesting. We had lunch there and then rode on to Cunderdin where we got a cabin at the caravan park for $60, and it is both nice and clean. Bargain.

Tonight we are going to eat at the Ettamogah Hotel, not the real one, that's in Queensland, but it does have a truck on the roof! Sadly I can't seem to email photos to the blog, the Bobs at rest was an attempt, so you'll have to wait for a look at it.

Only 58.94 kms today, average speed 19.8, but a good day for sore knees!
