Just a short 10 km jaunt today but it included a 600 m climb. We
knocked it off in 2 1/4 hours which was probably quicker than we
should have done it but we were feeling good and the scenery was
absolutely beautiful which took our minds off the pain. We would have
liked to have gone further but the next spot with suitable
accommodation was 24 kms away.
The country side was shrub covered hills and small farmlets. We've
started to see cows, probably because we are out of the irrigated
farms. They are beefy cows but look like they would milk too, all
rounders.
Meryl and Gary caught a ride as Meryl is still not well.
