May 18 Arca Opina

No rain at last! We got up early and were walking by 7 AM as we'd
heard that beds were scarce in Arca. Today's walk was gentle and
scenic with more dairy farms (too wet for any thing else) and big
plantations of eucalypts for pulp. I may have been the only one who
liked to smell the silage but most people surely must have liked the
cows.
We got a place in Arca without a problem. We are in dorms but not
packed in like sardines. We have a bit of privacy and big windows we
can open. It's a nice little town and we were able to stock up on
breakfast stuff and medicine. I'm the latest victim of the cold, so
now 3 of us are coughing! We are starting to get to know some of the
people who move at the same pace as us and have the same budget.
